Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council Calls for 2007 Awards Nominations

The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council has announced a call for nominations for its 2007 Technology Leadership Awards; the only awards program to recognize outstanding achievement in both the development and implementation of information technology.
"The Technology Leadership Awards program will shine a spotlight on the most innovative individuals and companies in the Commonwealth," said Joyce Plotkin, president of the Mass Technology Leadership Council. "We look forward to honoring the best and the brightest in the Massachusetts technology community."
The Council will present awards to the companies and people who exemplify leadership and excellence in business and technology in Massachusetts at a gala event scheduled for October 18, 2007. Networking events will be held on June 28th and July 17th for award finalists to meet with the program judges, sponsors and Council members.
Nominations can be made by both members and non-members and must be received by May 16!
Each nominee will be evaluated based on recent achievements in making significant contributions to the industry, to customers, or to their businesses in the following categories:
Individual Awards
CEO of the Year
CIO of the Year
CTO of the Year
CXO of the Year (C-level Executive; not CEO, CIO or CTO)
Emerging Executive (Person to watch; under 40 years old)
Mover and Shaker (Catalyst/Industry influencer; NEW category this year)
Technology Developer/Vendor Awards
Enterprise (B2B applications or systems including SOA, SaaS, Open Source, CSID)
Communications/Infrastructure/Wireless
Consumer (B2C) /Social Media
Innovation (Academia, Emerging Technologies, Robotics, Nano)
Technology Buyer/User Awards
Financial Services IT (Banking, Investment Management, Insurance)
Healthcare IT (Providers, Payors)
Life Sciences IT (Biotech, Pharmaceutical)
Energy IT /Other
