BroadSoft and Unient Selected By Slovak Telecom to Deliver Advanced VoIP Applications and Services to Business Customers

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- BroadSoft Connections Conference -- BroadSoft(R) Inc., the leading provider of network communications platforms, and Unient Communications a.s. today announced that Slovak Telecom, Slovakia's dominant telecommunication operator and a member of Deutsche Telekom Group, has selected BroadSoft's BroadWorks(R) application platform and Unient's professional and integration services to build a next- generation network solution for business customers in Slovakia.

The BroadSoft/Unient joint solution is designed to give Slovak Telecom's enterprise customers unprecedented flexibility, control and manageability for their business-critical voice and data services. BroadSoft will provide the latest in advanced voice applications including hosted PBX, IP Centrex and collaborative conferencing, fully integrated into a single platform. Unient will integrate Slovak Telecom's current infrastructure with the BroadWorks solution, and customize the user interface to enhance Slovak Telecom's customer experience.
