COSTA MESA, Calif., May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AT&T Inc. announced today that Tickets.com, Inc. has extended its relationship with AT&T with a new three-year $2.5 million agreement. AT&T will provide Tickets.com long distance with advanced features, frame relay, business Internet services along with DSL, Managed Internet Service (MIS) and private lines.
Tickets.com is a leading business-to-business ticketing solutions provider for live events. The company facilitates the sale of tickets by enabling venues and entertainment organizations with proprietary and cutting-edge software, retail outlets, kiosks, call centers and an interactive voice response (IVR) system.
The collocation and telephone technology that AT&T provides will support the virtual store front for Tickets.com. Buyers can either purchase tickets online or call into one of the toll-free numbers. Either way, Tickets.com can rely on the consistency and availability of its AT&T services. AT&T's services prove both reliable and scalable during peak ticket sales periods. During peak seasons, AT&T's services have helped Tickets.com handle enormous volumes of ticket sales each day.
"We have been pleased with the reliability of AT&T's services as well as the dependability from the sales and support teams," said Brett Michalak, chief information officer of Tickets.com.
The agreement renews and expands a relationship between the two companies spanning more than 20 years.
