Mall Networks Names Ben Kaplan As Chief Marketing Officer

Mall Networks, the leading provider of online malls and loyalty shopping solutions, today announced that Ben Kaplan has joined the company's management team as Chief Marketing Officer.
In this role, Kaplan is responsible for all aspects of marketing at Mall Networks, including market strategy, product management and marketing, corporate communications and marketing programs. He brings to the company 15 years of marketing, product management and business development experience in a wide range of technology sectors including e-commerce, customer relationship management (CRM), self-service, social networking, search, content management, and business intelligence.

Prior to Mall Networks, Kaplan was Vice President of Marketing at KNOVA Software, a leading provider of customer service, self-service and intelligent search applications. He joined KNOVA through the merger of ServiceWare Technologies and Kanisa, where he was Vice President of Marketing. While at KNOVA, Kaplan helped grow the company from 5 to 200 customers and established the product suite as an award-winning market leader.
Prior to joining Kanisa, Kaplan was Vice President of Marketing at North Systems, a provider of on-demand e-commerce solutions for industrial suppliers. Before joining North Systems, Kaplan served as Director of Product Marketing at Broadbase Software where he helped direct the company's rapid growth and successful IPO before its merger with KANA. He joined Broadbase from Commerce One, where he served as Director of Product Marketing and helped establish the company as a leader in B2B e-commerce. Prior to Commerce One, Kaplan was a consultant at R.B. Webber & Co., a management consulting firm focused on technology industries.
Kaplan holds a BA from Harvard College.
