FarStone Appoints Thomas Fedro Vice President Sales and Marketing; Software Industry Expert to Lead Market Expansion of Company's Digital Content Replication, Recovery and Security Solutions

FarStone Technology Inc., the global leader in the design, development and publishing of software solutions that target digital content security, replication and management, today announced the appointment of Thomas Fedro as vice president of sales and marketing.
Chartered with developing and driving the company's sales and marketing initiatives, Fedro brings over 20 years of experience in executive management. In his new role, Fedro will oversee the day-to-day operations of FarStone in the Americas, throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as Australia and Japan. He will expand the sales effort into new channels and strengthen the corporate and OEM marketing strategy while broadening industry visibility for the company. Leveraging his vast experience, Fedro is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding FarStone's client roster.
"The addition of Tom to the executive management team comes at an ideal time," said Thomas Lin, FarStone chief executive officer. Prior to FarStone, Fedro was general manager and vice president of several subsidiaries within Fidelity National Financial (FNF), a $7 billion company, the nation's most comprehensive source for financial services and real estate related software products. During his tenure as the vice president of sales and marketing at FNF, he was responsible for driving technology sales initiatives and crafting a comprehensive marketing communications strategy. Fedro was also vice president of sales at RealEC Technologies, a subsidiary of FNF, where he was responsible for the restructure of the company's sales and marketing teams and grew revenues by 425 percent while establishing the company as the largest real estate related electronic partner network on the Internet with over 600,000 transactions monthly.
At Micro General Corp., prior to its acquisition by FNF, he reported to the CEO as the vice president of sales and marketing while this software applications and IT outsourcing company was honored with Deloitte's "Fastest Growing Public Technology Company" award in Orange County, Calif., with over $150 million in revenue and 700 professionals.
Fedro was also the co-founder of eCatalystOne and held chief operating officer and executive vice president roles with the Internet startup company that offered prepaid e- and m-commerce transactions for desktop and wireless devices. The company was later successfully acquired by a larger pre-paid software solution provider. His experience is bolstered with vice president of sales and marketing roles with multiple wireless software companies including Subscriber Computing Inc., located in Irvine, and Coral Systems, located in Longmont, Colo.
Fedro received his B.A. degree in finance and marketing from the University of Denver.
