Radiance Technologies' TrueDelivery Is Named Communications Solutions 2006 Product of the Year

Posted on: Wednesday, 23 May 2007, 12:00 CDT

LOS ALTOS, Calif., May 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Radiance(R) Technologies, the leading provider of asset delivery systems (ADS), today announced that Communications Solutions has named the latest version of Radiance's flagship product, TrueDelivery 4.2, a recipient of its 2006 Product of the Year Award.

TrueDelivery enables users to send and receive files of any type or size securely over corporate IP networks and the Internet in sizes and volumes that would otherwise compromise network and business performance. Users can automate, prioritize, send, receive and track gigabytes or terabytes of mission-critical content sent between a company's offices, or from an office to collaborators, suppliers, partners, or customers, regardless of location.

"Radiance Technologies' TrueDelivery has been recognized with a 2006 Product of the Year Award for excellence in technological advancement and application refinement," said Rich Tehrani, President of Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) and Group Editor-in-Chief of Communications Solutions. "Radiance has proven it is committed to quality and excellence in asset delivery -- through systems that improve the customer experience and provide a high ROI for companies that use TrueDelivery.

Enhancements in version 4.2 of TrueDelivery include a new desktop interface that allows users to transfer hundreds of files in a single drag- and-drop operation, with e-mail style addressing. Users can also prioritize delivery of files or groups of files, and allocate them differing amounts of bandwidth. The software includes advanced tracking and monitoring mechanisms capable of producing specific audit trails to meet corporate compliance or regulatory requirements.

"Radiance Technologies designed TrueDelivery from the ground up to provide superior performance for customers in creative fields such as product design, brand management, advertising and marketing communications, while making TrueDelivery secure and robust enough to meet the stringent requirements of the government," said Radiance CEO Tom Engdahl. "We are honored to be named a recipient of Communications Solutions' 2006 Product of the Year Award, as it acknowledges the continuous innovation that our team has shown in the latest version of TrueDelivery."

TrueDelivery 4.2 is available as licensed software or as a hosted or managed service. It is compatible with Mac OS X and Windows Vista, XP, 2003 and 2000. Since the new version was released, Radiance Technologies has also announced OnRamps, a set of application level interfaces to link the TrueDelivery service plane with popular software applications used in the design and creative industries.

The most innovative products and services brought to market in 2006 have been selected as recipients of this year's Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award. The 2006 Product of the Year Award winners can be found on the Communications Solutions Web site: http://www.tmcnet.com/comsol.
