SAN FRANCISCO, Facebook f8 Event, May 24 /PRNewswire/ — Tiny Pictures, Inc. today announced the availability of an integrated Radar application built on Facebook Platform, a new development platform that enables companies and engineers to integrate with the Facebook website and gain access to millions of users. With more then 24 million active users, Facebook is the sixth-most trafficked website in the United States.

The Radar service provides: — real-time group sharing of pictures and videos among close friends — immediate browsing and commenting from any mobile phone browser or PC — a series of ground-breaking, highly interactive mobile applications

The combination of instant sharing, close friends, and group commenting means users are sharing experiences as they happen, and staying in touch by communicating with pictures.

The Radar application for Facebook allows Radar users to easily share selected pictures and videos to their Facebook friends, and embeds Radar-style browsing and commenting tools in the user’s Facebook profile.

Radar pictures shared on a user’s Facebook profile serve as a live and highly visual status update, and commenting further enhances the experience.

“Facebook Platform creates an ecosystem for developers to build applications that deeply integrate into Facebook and use its social graph,” said Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook. “By enabling developers to make applications within Facebook, we’re working together to create a better utility for millions of people.”

“For many Radar users, Facebook is their principal means of connecting with a larger circle of friends and acquaintances,” said John Poisson, Founder and CEO of Tiny Pictures. “The Radar application for Facebook allows users to share selected pictures with this larger audience while maintaining the highly personal real-time sharing they’ve come to expect from Radar.”
