Webmetrics, a leading provider of collaborative monitoring solutions for enterprise web ecosystems, today announced that the Company experienced 86 percent revenue growth during Q1, 2007. The significant growth is a result of new customer acquisition and wider service adoption among the Company's existing customer base, which represented 53 percent of new contracts. Companies from a variety of industries utilize Webmetrics' services to test and monitor the performance of web applications, web services and streaming media.
"The growing consumption of software as a service, coupled by the evolution of enterprise mash-ups and the SaaS business model, have created new market opportunities for performance management providers," says Tim Drees, CEO of Webmetrics. "Our current product development efforts are dedicated to simplifying the management of increasingly complex web ecosystems, and delivering strategic, actionable performance intelligence across all lines of business and between trading partners."
Other Notable Quarterly Developments include:
The introduction of a suite of performance management services designed exclusively for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Webmetrics' GlobalWatch is a performance-monitoring bundle that provides subscribers with real-time status and performance data for Amazon's widely-adopted web services, including Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), and Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), as well as Amazon's e-commerce and product data service, Amazon E-commerce Service (Amazon ECS).
