Slaying Suspect Charged in Robbery

Jun. 2–DURHAM — A suspect awaiting trial for murder was arrested Friday for the second time in two months and charged in a recent armed robbery.

Jason Jenson Paylor, also known as Jensen Fitzgerald Paylor, was arrested in connection with the May 26 armed robbery and stabbing of a 21-year-old man, said Kammie Michael, a Durham police spokeswoman.

Paylor was out on bail, awaiting trial in the March 2006 killing of James Frederick White Jr. He also has been charged in an April 12 robbery.
