Twinhead Unveils New Sales/Marketing Name: GammaTech Computer Corporation
Posted on: Tuesday, 5 June 2007, 18:00 CDT
Twinhead Corporation, a world leader in notebook computers, today announced the renaming of its North American/Latin American sales and marketing arm. The new entity, renamed GammaTech Computer Corporation, will focus on expanding distribution of the company's ruggedized Durabook, Slimnote and other notebook PCs to multiple channels throughout the Americas.
"The creation of the GammaTech name will help to better define our brand names with consumers, while enabling Twinhead to focus on the private-label OEM end of our business," said Steven Gau, President of GammaTech Computer Corporation. "The strong franchise that GammaTech enjoys in the PC category with our Durabook and Slimnote brands will not change as a result of today's announcement, nor will our high-quality sales and customer support."
Until the transition to the GammaTech name is complete later this year, the company will retain both the GammaTech and Twinhead corporate names.
