Securent Co-Founder and CTO Sekhar Sarukkai Earns 2007 CTO 25 Award From InfoWorld Magazine

Before Confluent/Oblix, Sarukkai was the chief architect for Hewlett-Packard’s E-speak program, where he led efforts covering web- service programming models, routing, registries, and management. Prior to his E-speak work, Sarukkai worked at HP labs where he was granted many patents in the areas of parallel computing, dynamic load balancing, web caching, and one of the earliest patents on browsing the web using speech. Before joining HP, Sarukkai worked at NASA Ames Research Center. He holds Master’s a degree and PhD in Computer Science from Indiana University.
