Posted on: Thursday, 7 June 2007, 09:00 CDT

At NXTcomm 2007 in Booth 6042, Actelis Networks®, the leading global supplier of Carrier Ethernet over Copper™ solutions, will showcase its award-winning line of Carrier Ethernet over Copper™ solutions. Led by Mehmet Balos, president of worldwide marketing, sales and services, and Craig Easley, associate vice president of marketing, Actelis executives will be onsite to meet with show attendees, customers, partners, the media and industry analysts to discuss the company's latest solutions for mobile backhaul and remote DSLAM backhaul.

Also on display will be the company's new ML 640 Intelligent Ethernet Access Edge Switch and the XR239 EFM Repeater. Actelis' portfolio of Ethernet access products has drawn critical acclaim this past week from global growth consulting company Frost & Sullivan and the International Engineering Consortium (IEC), making Actelis Networks the undisputed, "Number 1," leading global supplier of carrier-class Ethernet in the first mile over copper solutions.

Additionally, Actelis will be releasing its highly anticipated "Carrier Ethernet Solutions Guide." Service providers today have a great opportunity to exploit their existing copper infrastructure to provide access to next-generation carrier Ethernet services. Actelis' new "Carrier Ethernet Solutions Guide" illustrates how service providers can deliver carrier Ethernet over copper services to education and healthcare markets, two of the largest growing markets in the U.S. The guide also highlights solutions for two emerging applications, mobile backhaul and remote DSLAM backhaul. An interactive, multimedia experience on CD-ROM is included in the guide.

On June 19, starting at 1:15 p.m. CST, Actelis' Craig Easley will moderate a Metro Ethernet Forum Session titled "Carrier Ethernet Access: Alternatives for Extending Ethernet Services." Panelists include executives from Turin Networks, Occam Networks and Calix.

Also on June 19, at the Mid-America Club, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. CST, Actelis executives will attend the NPRG &"Telephony" Leadership Forum & Communications Innovators Awards Reception. This invitation-only event recognizes service providers that are at the very edge of technology innovation, moving services to market and, ultimately, the industry forward.

On June 20, starting at 1:15 p.m. CST, Actelis' Craig Easley will speak at a Metro Ethernet Forum Session titled "Ethernet for Mobile Backhaul: Solutions for Legacy and 3G/4G Mobile Networks." Joining Easley on the panel will be executives from Alcatel-Lucent and Fujitsu.

Also on June 20, starting at 2:30 p.m. CST, Easley will moderate his second Metro Ethernet Forum Session titled "Alternatives for Extending Ethernet Services." Joining Easley will be panelists from Omnitron Systems, Turin Networks and Occam Networks.
