KDDI to Integrate 4 Networking and Solutions Unit on Nov. 1

Tokyo, Oct. 21 (Jiji Press)--KDDI Corp. said Thursday it will integrate four networking and solutions subsidiaries under a new wholly owned subsidiary to be launched on Nov. 1 to enhance the group's competitiveness in fixed-line phone services for corporate users.
The new firm, KDDI Network & Solutions Inc., will be capitalized at 3.38 billion yen. In addition to providing communications and networking services, the new firm will develop, manufacture and sell communications devices and systems.
The company will integrate the operations of KDDI's four wholly owned subsidiaries--K Solutions Inc., KCOM Corp., OSI Plus Corp. and KDDI Msat Inc.END
