Optical Cable Corporation Schedules Conference Call to Discuss Second Quarter 2007 Results

ROANOKE, Va., June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Optical Cable Corporation , today announced that it will release its second quarter of fiscal year 2007 results on Tuesday, June 12, 2007. The second quarter results are for the three-month and six-month periods ended April 30, 2007. In conjunction with its release, the Company will host a conference call on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

Individuals wishing to participate in the conference call should call (888) 868-9083. For interested individuals unable to join the call, a replay will be available through June 20, 2007 by dialing (877) 519-4471, pass code 8863135. The call will also be broadcast live over the Internet and can be accessed by visiting the investor relations section of the Company's website at http://www.occfiber.com/.

As in the past, Optical Cable Corporation will answer questions from analysts and fund investors during the conference call. However, Optical Cable Corporation would also like to invite its individual investors to submit questions in advance of the conference call.
