Adding to its leadership team of seasoned industry veterans, Rivermine, a leading provider of automated telecom expense management (TEM) solutions, today announced it has appointed Ken Lienemann as vice president of sales and managed services.
"Ken brings a unique perspective on the marketplace, as he has defined and implemented successful sales strategies for multiple telecom-related organizations," said Mark Logan, president and CEO, Rivermine. "Ken's depth of experience gives Rivermine a competitive edge, as he has valuable insight regarding Fortune 1000 companies and their telecom expense management needs."
Lienemann's responsibilities will include overseeing the entire Rivermine sales organization and driving revenues from transactions comprising both software and eXPERTSolutions managed services offerings. Lienemann will also supervise Rivermine's eXPERTSolutions team, which handles Rivermine's software-powered managed services delivered by domain experts.
"More and more companies are realizing the need for blended telecom expense management solutions--software provides the backbone and managed services drive further value for the software's capabilities," said Lienemann. "I look forward to bringing Rivermine's comprehensive solutions to potential customers and demonstrating how they can drive multi-million-dollar savings and operational efficiencies by strategically managing their telecom environments."
Bringing more than 13 years of sales, service delivery and telecom experience, Lienemann joined Rivermine from Control Point Solutions, where he served as vice president of commercial sales. Joining the company from Broadmargin, which later merged with Teldata to become Control Point Solutions, Lienemann was instrumental in the company's initial launch and successful segue from the carrier space into the commercial market. Prior to Control Point Solutions, Lienemann co-founded Step 9, a business and operational support solutions provider for telecom carriers, where he helped drive double-digit sales growth and $20 million in venture funding. Lienemann also previously held senior technical, sales and support positions with Accenture and Architel.
Rivermine's solutions provide an intuitive and unified way to gain visibility into, and control over, nearly all aspects of telecommunications management. The solutions automate many cumbersome tasks such as wireless management, contract sourcing, service ordering and provisioning, and invoice processing, auditing, and payment.
