SpaceTime (http://www.spacetime.com), an innovator of 3D technology, today announced the beta release of its 3D search software has been downloaded more than 100,000 times and has delivered more than 1 million pieces of information within one week of public availability. SpaceTimeTM users have been conducting over 10,000 3D searches per day with the free PC software application that enables search with four key functionalities: 3D Search, 3D eBay Search, 3D Image Search and 3D Tabbed Browsing.

3D Search — The 3D search functionality simultaneously loads multiple search results as a stack of pages. Users can then quickly and easily flip through the results, re-arrange the pages or manipulate them as desired. This search functionality supports Google, Google Images, Yahoo!, Yahoo! Images, Flickr, eBay and others.

3D eBay Search — As a certified member of the eBay Developers Program, SpaceTime leverages eBay’s Web Services Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), which enable third-party developers to create Web-based applications used to conduct business with the eBay Platform. SpaceTime has developed a way to make browsing eBay listings more like flipping through an electronic catalog of full-sized images.

3D Image Search — SpaceTime users can search through Yahoo! Images and Google Images to view and save images to their computer. The application displays images in a visual stack, instead of a list of thumbnails, so users can zoom in or rearrange the stack for instant image comparison.

3D Tabbed Browsing — SpaceTime enables Web browsing in an unlimited 3D space. It allows users to map out their browsing progress in a visual timeline, treating each Web site as an object that can be manipulated and rearranged within the 3D environment.

“In less than a week, SpaceTime’s 3D Search Technology has been met with enthusiasm all over the world – proving that people are tired with old fashioned two dimensional search,” said CEO and Founder Eddie Bakhash. “We would like to thank the over 100,000 people who have downloaded the application and whose feedback has been invaluable as we create a 3D product everyone can enjoy.”

As SpaceTime continues development, anyone can join the SpaceTime Community to contribute their feedback and share tips and tricks. The community site and the free PC-compatible application can both be accessed at http://www.spacetime.com. The optimal system required to run SpaceTime must be operating on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, have at least 512 MB of RAM, 128 MB of video RAM, and Pentium 4 2.4 GHz or AMD 2400xp+.
