Yellow Book Network Recognized As Fastest Growing Internet Yellow Pages

The results are in -- Yellow Book Network, Yellow Book USA's online search property, led the category as the fastest growing Internet yellow pages (IYP) with an astounding 85% growth Q1 2006 to Q1 2007 according to comScore, a leader in measuring the digital world.
Yellow Book Network's 85% increase in searches beat out all other IYP competitors and far outpaced overall category growth of 5%. The company's site enhancements, as well as a national TV campaign and word of mouth were key to driving awareness -- and consumers -- to the site. The overall growth indicates more consumers are turning to yellowbook.com to find the information they need.
"Our Internet strategy mirrors our Print strategy -- both start with the end user in mind. Over the years, we've allocated significant resources to yellowbook.com to improve that end user experience," says Joe Walsh, Yellow Book USA's president and CEO. "The comScore data indicate we're focused on the right areas."
comScore's 1st Quarter 2007 results demonstrate that during the past year, Yellow Book Network not only surpassed its previous records for searches, it also hit a new high in the number of searchers, or new visitors to a website as identified by unique IP addresses.
