Mzima Networks Expands Its East Coast Network With a PoP at Tel(X)

NEW YORK, June 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Mzima Networks, a U.S. based leading next-generation Network Service Provider, announced that it has deployed a backbone Point-of-Presence (PoP) in the tel(x) Meet Me Room at 60 Hudson Street. This PoP, in addition their PoP in the tel(x)-owned Meet Me Room at 111 Eighth Avenue in New York City, enhances the efficiency and reach of their nationwide network and, in particular, will support their expanding East Coast network.

Mzima is currently providing IP Transit connectivity and data transport services from premier colocation facilities in the US and Europe. By utilizing an all-optical meshed backbone that is connected to multiple Tier-1 backbone providers, Mzima enhances the efficiency of its nationwide network by directly peering with numerous broadband ISPs, backbones and content providers. The range of network services includes full line-rate 10 GbE route-optimized IP Transit, Ethernet Private Lines, SONET Private Lines, and Metro Ethernet and Wavelength Transport from all locations across their international backbone.
