US State Government Agency Chooses Software AG’s Event Replicator for Adabas
DARMSTADT, Germany, June 18 /PRNewswire/ — Software AG, a global leader in business infrastructure software, today announced that the Washington State Department of Information Systems has chosen Software AG’s Event Replicator for Adabas in support of the Labor and Industries agency (L&I). This agency is responsible for worker’s compensation in the state of Washington.
L&I plans to use Event Replicator to replicate Adabas data in real time to an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The agency expects to see a significant reduction in CPU usage over their current data replication approach, resulting in substantial cost savings. Additionally, L&I may use Event Replicator in the future to populate an SQL Server database with mainframe Adabas data for business intelligence purposes.
