ADI Engineering Announces New CPU Module and Evaluation Platform Based on the Intel IXP435 Network Processor

ADI Engineering, Inc., a leading provider of reference platforms, platform derivatives, and complete custom product solutions based on Intel® network processors, today announced immediate availability of a new CPU module based on the Intel(R) IXP435 network processor. In partnership with Novatec Corporation, ADI Engineering is offering the NTNP435C board for use as an IXP435 evaluation and development platform, as well as a low-cost CPU module for OEM applications of the IXP435.

"ADI is excited to be continuing its support for the IXP4xx family with this new processor from Intel. The NTNP435C is an ideal platform to enable rapid evaluation and deployment of new applications based on the IXP435."
The NTNP435C includes an Intel IXP435 network processor at 667 MHz, 128 MB of DDR II RAM with ECC, 32 MB Flash, two 10/100 Ethernet ports, one MiniPCI slot for WLAN or WiMAX support, two USB 2.0 high-speed host ports, a Compact Flash socket, a battery-backed real-time clock and a stackable expansion connector. The platform is supported by TimeSys Linux.
Single unit list price for NTNP435C as a development kit with engineering support is $1095 USD, with OEM quantity discounts available. Shipments are commencing immediately.
