URS Awarded U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Environmental Remediation Contract

URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that it has been awarded one of seven indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento District. As task orders are issued, URS will provide environmental remediation services for hazardous material abatement projects within the U.S. and its territories. The contract includes a two-year base period, followed by a three-year option period. The maximum aggregate value of all seven contracts is $200 million over the full five years.

Commenting on the contract award, Gary V.
