CREDANT Technologies Names Darryll E. Dewan Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Field Operations

DALLAS, June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- CREDANT Technologies(R), the market leader in mobile data protection solutions, today announced it has appointed Darryll E. Dewan as executive vice president of worldwide sales and field operations. In his role, Dewan will guide CREDANT technologies' global sales force and all field operations. He will be responsible for the development and support of direct and partner sales strategies and building customer value.
Dewan brings more than 27 years experience providing technology solutions to global enterprises and government agencies. He was most recently President and executive officer of SourceForge Enterprise Software, a division of VA Software. Dewan has been successful in developing high growth organizations demonstrated most recently at SourceForge, a leading open source media and software company, where he grew the business 500% over 3 years. He has an excellent track record in helping customers achieve tremendous value from the use of leading edge technology.
During his career, Dewan served as the Executive VP and President of strategic accounts and channels at i2 Technologies and was general manager of North America for Amdahl Corporation. He also held sales management positions with Oracle and Legent Corporation. Darryll began his career with IBM upon graduation from the University of Notre Dame. While at IBM he held sales and sales management positions for multiple industry segments.
