ATCi Launches Cable One's Uplink Facility Enabling Cable Company to Offer Local Channels to Rural Arizona Operators

PHOENIX, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi), a provider of commercial satellite communications services, announced today that it has successfully launched Cable One's uplink for 9 local Phoenix channels via satellite to all rural Arizona cable locations. The channels have been successfully broadcast since March, 2004.
ATCi, originator of world-renowned Simulsat(TM) Multibeam antenna, recently expanded its satellite services division to include a platform focused solely on providing cost-effective digital broadcast solutions for local channels. In addition to broadcasting local channels for Cable One, ATCi also specializes in broadcasting thematic channels and Webcasting.
For Cable One, ATCi provided all the RF equipment and installation services for the uplinked channels from the uplink facility located at ATCi's headquarters. ATCi handles the daily engineering, management, and monitoring support to ensure the channels are successfully received by the rural locations.
