Hitachi Consulting, the global consulting company of Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT), is expanding its Microsoft training capabilities across the United States through an alliance with United Training.
Hitachi Consulting has invested heavily in the creation of industry-leading Microsoft technology training content and has built a team of instructors with real-world project expertise. The expanded training alliance will give Hitachi Consulting the opportunity to deliver advanced Microsoft training content across the country at approximately 70 United Training locations. According to Drew Naukam, vice president of Hitachi Consulting's Microsoft Strategic Service Line, this alliance relationship brings Hitachi Consulting training material closer to customers.
"Broadening the reach and distribution of our leading Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) and SharePoint technology training courseware gives our clients a more efficient, convenient and cost-effective way to improve the skills of their employees," Mr. Naukam said. This expansion coincides with Hitachi Consulting's new initiative, using Business Intelligence and Performance Management at the Edge of the EnterpriseSM introduced at the first-ever, worldwide Microsoft BI Conference, which took place in May in Seattle.
