Alion Awarded $3 Million Contract to Support Army Training

Alion Science and Technology, an employee-owned technology solutions company, has been awarded a $3 million task order to provide simulation training and support to the Army III Corps and Fort Hood Battle Command Training Branch.

Under the program, Alion will provide operational management and technical integration support to the Battle Command Training Branch (BCTB). Alion will identify, analyze, develop and provide modeling and simulation training, expertise, and support to enhance BCTB training capabilities at Forts Hood, Carson, Riley, Sill and Bliss.

"The BCTB provides a vital service in ensuring that battle command training capabilities are established and maintained based on Department of the Army guidelines and within allocated funding," said Dave McClure, Alion Senior Vice President and Manager of the Strategic Systems Group. The contract is effective May 1, 2007. The Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting authority.
