NetLogic has expanded its relationship with Lincoln County Bancorp. The three-year-old Lake Saint Louis communications provider recently completed the installation of a 17-site network for the bank holding company under a contract agreement valued at more than $500,000.
For the past three years, NetLogic provided a single Internet connection to Lincoln County Bancorp. Under the new agreement, NetLogic will provide data communications, Internet services and hosting services. The company also plans to deploy voice services across the same network at a later date, according to Michael Morey, NetLogic president.
They had two separate networks, ours and another provider's, Morey said. We took over both. Lincoln County Bancorp has five divisions and 17 sites. Now their computer systems are tied together to their main headquarters. We're delivering a communications network to handle all banking data and Internet access at all their bank locations.
Dave Chronister, information technology director for Lincoln County Bancorp, said NetLogic is the first communication services provider that manages all the bank's needs. NetLogic handles Lincoln County Bancorp's data communications, Internet, Web sites and specialized system needs. Also the company is considering letting NetLogic handle its phone services as well.
We were with a larger company, but when we had problems such as billing issues, they weren't getting resolved, Chronister said. We've had good experience with NetLogic. They offer good pricing, and their support staff is amazing. They sold us what we needed, not what they might have wanted to sell.
There are many benefits working with NetLogic, Chronister said. We're getting a better product for less. We deal directly with Mike Morey and the home office, which is another thing I like about the arrangement. It's a great company to work with.
Lincoln County Bancorp, with headquarters in Troy, is the holding company for five Missouri banks, including People's Bank & Trust, Exchange Bank of Missouri, Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri, People's Bank of Altenburg and Bank of Louisiana. Among the company's 17 Missouri branches are People's Bank & Trust locations in O'Fallon and Troy, serving St. Charles County and Lincoln County customers.
NetLogic provides business services nationally that include high- speed Internet access, hosting, Web design and local and long- distance telephone services through voice-over-Internet technology. In addition, the company provides wireless Internet service in seven counties, including St. Charles, St. Louis, Lincoln and Warren counties.
The privately held company, located at 1000 Lake Saint Louis Blvd., has eight employees and markets its products through a network of more than 100 independent agents throughout the nation. It currently provides Internet and communication services in more than 500 cities.
Founded in 2001, NetLogic was formerly known at Infiniplex. Among the company's area clients, besides Lincoln County Bancorp, are SSM Health Care-St. Louis, Re/Max, Zeiser Motors, UPS, Bobcat and Radio Shack.
