Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions Appoints Bob Johnson to Vice President of Sales for North American MOCA Business Unit

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS), a business unit of Arrow Electronics, Inc. , today announced that Robert (Bob) Johnson has joined the company as vice president of sales for the North American MOCA business unit, which oversees Arrow ECS' Sun Microsystems business. Johnson will oversee the inside sales, field sales and pre-sales engineering teams for the Arrow ECS MOCA business unit.

With 30 years of experience in the electronics and computer products distribution business, Johnson brings strong client relationship, financial management and leadership skills to Arrow ECS. He is the past vice president of sales, national accounts, for Samsung Electronics America, where he led the sales, marketing and operations teams for Samsung's Best Buy account.
Previously, he spent 10 years at Tech Data Corporation, where he served as vice president and general manager for Tech Data's retail and direct marketers sales division, and later as vice president and general manager for the company's national accounts sales division. He also has held senior sales and marketing positions with Merisel, Tops Appliance City, Sound Playground and 25th Century Marketing. He began his career as an account manager for the NCR Corporation.
