Cross Lake Student Wins State Skills Contest

CROSS LAKE – Joshua Belanger, Son of Steve and Debbie Belanger of Cross Lake, recently took first place in computer maintenance, winning a gold medal at the state Skills USA competition.
Belanger graduated from Washington County Community College this spring with an Associates Degree in applied science with a major in computer support with a computer networking specialization.
This past week, Belanger went on to the national competition in Kansas City, where he received his A-Plus certification and placed sixth.
