BRIEF: Perhaps the Devil Made ‘Em Do It

Jul. 8–BEDFORD — A thief who struck last week may need a refresher course on the Ten Commandments.

Someone entered St. Michael Catholic Church on or before the Fourth of July and stole a microphone and other electronic equipment.

No one has been arrested.

Church officials reported the theft Thursday, the day after Independence Day.

According to police reports, the church, in the 3700 block of Harwood Road, had been open Tuesday and Wednesday.

That’s when police say the thief broke the Eighth Commandment, “Thou shalt not steal.”

And now, everyone knows where the thief is headed.
