Summit Systems, Inc. Spins Off Its Network Services Division and Forms United Technology Group, LLC

ATLANTA, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Systems, Inc., a leader in low- voltage telecommunication and high-voltage electrical systems announced today the spin off of its Network Services Division and the founding of a new organization. The name of the new company is United Technology Group, LLC. Mike Kinsey, President and CEO of Summit Systems, Inc. made the announcement.
United Technology Group will continue to offer services based on industry leading networking, application and telephony vendors. Current service contracts and support agreements with Summit Systems, Inc. will be transferred to United Technology Group and serviced by the same specialized team.
"Based on the successes of the Network Services Division since its inception in 1999, we decided to spin it off as a separate organization with dedicated management, resources and focus," said Eric Dykes, President of United Technology Group. "The divestiture will allow us to continue to enhance the customer experience by providing more targeted resources to our customers and our technical staff."

United Technology Group, LLC has established long-term agreements with its parent company Summit Systems, Inc. to share resources and provide support to all mutual customers. The two companies will reside in separate office spaces in the same building at its Buford, GA location.
