Liberty Global Appoints Balan Nair Chief Technology Officer

Liberty Global, Inc. (“Liberty Global”) (NASDAQ: LBTYA)(NASDAQ: LBTYB)(NASDAQ: LBTYK) today announced that Balan Nair will join the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.

In this role, Mr. Nair will be responsible for overseeing the Company’s global network and technology operations which span four continents and over 30 million homes.

Mr. Nair is currently Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President for AOL where he serves as the company’s chief technology strategist and manages AOL’s global IP network and operations centers. Prior to his role at AOL, Mr. Nair spent 12 years at Qwest, most recently as Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer.

Mr. Nair has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Iowa State University and will relocate to the Denver area.
