DEA Asks FDA to Look into Stronger Restrictions on Prescription Drugs

The DEA has asked the FDA to consider placing stronger restrictions on Vicodin and other drugs containing hydrocodone, after noting a significant increase in overdose deaths and addicted patients. They want the drug to have controls similar to OxyContin and Percocet.
