National Push To Stock Epipens In Schools

Erika Edwards reports on a national push to stock epinephrine in schools. The medication can save the lives of children who are allergic to certain foods or insect stings. This isn’t just for kids with known allergies. An estimated quarter of kids who experience allergic reactions on school grounds have never been diagnosed. Now many states are passing legislation encouraging schools to have the emergency medicine on hand.
