The New Face Of Tofu

Tofu is becoming a bigger part of western diets especially with women in their 20s who want something that’s quick, easy to cook and that can help keep them stay trim, according to a Cornell Food and Brand Lab study published online on May 5th in Eating Behaviors. In their study of 502 non-vegetarian young women of western ancestry, the researchers also found that rather than emphasizing its healthfulness, the best way to encourage others to try tofu is by showing them that it is low cost and easy to cook; they may be up to 50% more likely to try cooking with tofu at home!
