Microscopic Capsules Will Deliver Additives to Food

Researchers are creating microscopic hollow capsules that could one day be used to embed nutritional or medicinal additives in ordinary food. The capsules may also be used to carry flavors, odors, or colors that could be released into the food on-demand by the consumer.
