IBEX: A Global Imager Of Our Solar System
IBEX is a NASA mission that will for the first time take a picture of the edge of our solar system. This video explains the way IBEX will create a global map of the boundaries of our solar system. IBEX uses energetic neutral atoms to map these boundaries. The Voyagers spacecraft launched in the 1970s is looking at two points only, while IBEX images the global structure of the boundaries that surround our solar system. credit: NASARelated Videos
