Dr. John Asher Johnson, a Research Scientist for NASA’s Exoplanet Science Institute at Caltech, discovered the three smallest planets ever found outside our solar system; the discovery, using the Kepler space telescope, could boost the likelihood of finding habitable planets in our galaxy.  credit:  NASA
