Phoenix Measures Local Rocks
May 30, 2008
Approximate sizes of several rocks in the view measured using the NASA Ames Viz tool using stereoscopic images from the SSI camera whose shadow is shown in self portrait. Headless nature of the images comes from time elapsed imaging of mast taken at one time, and the SSI (head) taken later. Video credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech/University of Arizona/NASA Ames.
