Zooming in on the Remote Cluster CL J1449+0856

This sequence starts with a view of the constellation of Boötes (The Herdsman) and the bright star Arcturus. As we zoom in we can see many faint stars in the Milky Way and then, as we go even deeper, huge numbers of remote galaxies become visible. credit: ESO
