Antiviral Chemistry & Chemotherapy

Antiviral Chemistry & Chemotherapy is a peer-reviewed academic journal published bi-monthly by International Medical Press in London since 1997. When founded in January 1990, it was published by Blackwell Science. The current editor-in-chief is Hugh J. Field of University of Cambridge, UK.

The journal publishes primary papers and reviews on all aspects of the preclinical development of antiviral agents, including their chemical synthesis, biochemistry, pharmacology, mode of action and virology, and studies in animal models.

It is the official publication of the International Society for Antiviral Research. It is indexed in Index Medicus, Medline, Research Alert, Chemical Abstracts and EMBASE.

Content from 1998 to the present is available online in PDF format, via the journal’s website. Any content over a year old is freely accessible, and all content is freely available to those living in developing countries.
