Booq E-reader

The Booq E-reader (4FFF N618) is an e-book reader using the Linux 2.6.23 operating system, manufactured and released in 2010 by Condor Technology Associates. It was sold globally under various names, one being the Pandigital Novel 6″ Personal e-Reader in North America.

The display is a six-inch electronic paper touchscreen with 16 levels of grayscale. The device uses a Samsung 400MHz CPU, it has 128 MB RAM, 2GB storage with a microSD slot for an additional 16 GB.

It is Wi-Fi capable, has a high speed micro USB, and an audio jack. Battery life has 700 hours of standby time, 10,000 page turns with Wi-Fi off and 3,000 with it on.

Text files supported are ePUB, HTML, PDF, RTF, and TXT. Image files are BMP, JPEG, and PNG. It also supports MP3 files for audio.
