FEBS Letters

FEBS Letters is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that covers all aspects of biochemistry. It is published by Elsevier for the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS). FEBS Letters publishes mini-reviews, hypotheses, and research letters. All issues are also published online, including archive issues going back to the very first issue in 1968. All issues are open-access after the first year of publication.

Each year FEBS Letters presents a €10,000 ($14,985) award to an independent group leader who is the corresponding author of the most outstanding research letter published in the previous calendar year. To win the award the author must also be 40 years old or younger at the time the manuscript was published.

FEBS Letters is indexed in BIOBASE, Biological Abstracts, BIOSIS Previews, Current Contents, EMBASE/Excerpta Medica, Genetics Abstracts, MEDLINE, Neuroscience Citation Index, Science Citation Index, and Scopus.
