French Brittany

The French Brittany is a bird hunting dog, and the smallest of the pointing breeds. It originated in France and is one of the oldest longhaired pointing dogs.

The breed is small for its type ““ not likely to weigh over 30 pounds. The French Brittany has a pointer-type head and a short or non existent tail. Its build is solid and compact, yet not heavy. It has an intelligent expression and is very high-energy.
