Green Chemistry is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering any aspect of green chemistry. It is published monthly by the Royal Society of Chemistry and was established in 1999 by James Clark (University of York). The editor-in-chief is Sarah Ruthven.
The journal covers subjects relating to reducing the environmental impact of chemical substances and fuels by developing alternative and sustainable technologies that are non-toxic to living things and the environment, including: Improved production methods, formulation and delivery systems; Use of retainable resources; Biotechnology alternatives; and Improved process engineering. Articles covered in Green Chemistry include Research Papers, Communications, and Green Chemistry News.
