Hairy-legged Myotis, Myotis keaysi

The hair-legged myotis (Myotis keaysi) is a vesper bat that can be found in many countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela, among other areas. It is thought that this bat prefers to live at altitudes of up to 3,608 feet, but its habitat preferences are unknown. This bat is not threatened by habitat loss or hunting, and it is widespread throughout its range. Because of this, it appears on the IUCN Red List with a conservation status of “Least Concern.”
