Indian Journal of Dermatology

The Indian Journal of Dermatology (IJD) is a peer-reviewed open-access medical journal published on behalf of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists. It publishes articles on the subject of clinical and experimental dermatology, cutaneous biology, dermatological therapeutics, cosmetic dermatology, dermatopathology, and dermatosurgery.

Published since 1955, IJD is the oldest journal of Dermatology in Asia still in existence. It has been published uninterruptedly under the same name since its inception and continues to be one of the pioneer medical journals from India. It is one of the oldest peer-reviewed journals dedicated to dermatology.

In 1965, IJB became the official organ of the then Dermatological Society of India. It first launched the web version of its journal in November, 2000, becoming the first dermatology journal from India to go online.
