Minotaurasaurus, meaning “man-bull reptile”, is a genus of ankylosaurid dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Period. It was named by Clifford A. Miles and Clark J. Miles in 2009. It was purchased by
Vilayanur S. Ramachandran for $10,000 and made available to science. It is known from only one complete skull of unknown origin, though believed to have been found in the Gobi Desert.
Its name has been derived from the unique bull-like skull and its primitive brain casing. It shares typical features found in ankylosaur dinosaurs.
