Polish Tatra Sheepdog
The Polish Tatra Sheepdog is a dog breed from Poland used by shepherds to guard and herd sheep. The breed more than likely originated during the 14th century. It is similar in appearance to the Pyrenean Mountain Dog and the Hungarian Kuvasz, and it was used in the Tatra Mountain region.
The Polish Tatra Sheepdog is a large breed, standing 24 to 34 inches tall and weighing 100 to 150 pounds. The coat of the breed is dense and white.
The breed is independent and a servant. It can make an excellent guide dog or military dog.
