Portuguese Pointer

The Portuguese Pointer is a gun dog developed to point specifically in grey partridge hunting.

The breed stands 20 to 22 inches high and generally weighs 35-59 pounds. It has well-balanced proportions and a remarkably square build. Its coat is coarse and short over most of its body, but its ears and face are a velvety texture. It is generally yellow or light brown colored, and it sometimes has white markings.
