Savi’s Pipistrelle, Hypsugo savii or Pipistrellus savii

Savi’s Pipistrelle (Hypsugo savii or Pipistrellus savii) is native to Eurasia. This vesper bat prefers to roost within caves rock crevices, or old buildings during winter, but its preferred summer roosting sites are not known. The reproduction, feeding, and roosting habits of Savi’s Pipistrelle are highly similar to those of Pipistrellus kuhlii. Savi’s Pipistrelle is listed on the IUCN Red List as of “Least Concern”.
